Job Summary
We are looking for a [full-time/part-time] barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality coffee, skilled in preparing beverages with precision, and enjoys engaging with customers to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages with consistency and attention to detail

  • Maintain product knowledge and educate customers about our coffee, wines, and retail offerings

  • Provide warm, professional customer service and build rapport with regulars

  • Restock supplies, including milk, cups, syrups, and coffee

  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain a clean, organized café

  • Assist with receiving and organizing weekly shipments

  • Ensure proper coffee extraction across various brewing methods (espresso, pour-over, batch brew, cold brew)

  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of barista experience in a specialty coffee setting

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability to work weeknights and weekends

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Valid King County Food Handler’s Card

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

  • $21.00 per hour + tips (averaging $11–13 per hour)
